Recovery from Valve replacement

Hi
I've recently found I have a bicuspid aorta and a valve dilated to 5.9 cms so I need valve replacement surgery. Has anyone had it? And what is the recovery time?

We have several members who have had valve surgery. Do a search on "smiley2000;" she just had the surgery about 2 weeks ago and may be able to answer some of your questions.
