Regurgitation

Recently I had palpitation & pain in heart & bp around 144/100 & so was adviced to conduct Echo test
Findings:
The same revealed Trivial Mitral regurgitation & Trivial tricuspid Regurgitation with transtricuspid gradient of 14 mmHg
No significant pulmonary hypertension,Dopler estimated PAP of 24 mmHg
Normal left ventricular dimensions with Good contractility ( LVEF apprx.55-60%)

Is anything I have to do to recover from these , I have been adviced to take Prolomet 12.5
Will I be able to recover from this
Please suggest me the remedial measures & any adverse effect in future

i am in the same situation as you but however one echo reveal trivial MR and the other echo reveal Mitral valve prolapse with no regurgitation.

However i do know one thing from cardiologist - Trivial MR is common and there is no reason to panic.

How long has your BP been ? I think your cardiologist is too fast to prescribe Prolomet. That is what happened to me. I have a sudden high blood of 140-160 (my usual is 120 all these years) and i was prescribed Enalapril. Thank god i never took them because it went back to 120. Apparently it was stress.

Once you start you can't stop.

Thanks for ur feedback, my Bp is around 144/100
I think due to palpitation, doctor has recomended me prolomet
This is for 1 month & after one month probably i will be made to stop this
Can you tell me is this recoverable  or this is for lifetime
