Request for input re: enhanced external counterpulsation (EECP)

I would love to hear about your experiences with EECP.  My cardiologist has recommended that I undergo this treatment to address exercise-induced angina that has recurred after 4 stents and a 5-way bypass.  He has told me that additional surgical intervention would not be helpful because there are just too many blockages/narrowed areas in multiple vessels.  

If you had undergone this treatment, know someone who has, or know about it, I would sincerely appreciate hearing from you.  This would be an expensive course of treatment as I would have to pay a copayment for each of the 35 sessions so I need to figure out whether it's worth it.
