Ask 100 cardiogists and you'll probably get at least 25 different answers, thus
the best information is that which you received because it came from all the current experience across the world. Some studies suggest that your restonsis rate is even less likely if you received a
plateletPlatelet associated antibodies
Platelet count inhibitor at the time of your stent placement, and you're right that the longer the stent, the more likely restenosis, however it has to do with total surface area and not so much volume. Of course this 'restenosis' problem is still that a problem since it is incompletely understood. There are ongoing research trials aimed at diminishing restenosis as you may know, in the meanwhile you should be concerned about eating right and exercising daily to maintain your health and NOT on your EXACT risk for restenosis which even if we knew, there would be nothing different we could recommend.
