that is incredibly low for total serum. In the UK the average is around 193 and anything lower than this is a bonus. I believe anything below 160 is classed as hypocholesterolemia and I personally think 93 sounds too low. Perhaps the Doctor will look to see if there's an underlying cause. Does your Mom have any symptoms?
