I was prescribed Amiodarone for SVTs. After being monitored and knowing of the side effects, I chose to stop taking it after 9 months. But still, the attacks have not returned. Taking the drug for those 9 months helped to stop them. I feel a skipped beat every now and then, but not the episodes that would take my breath away and make me feel dizzy and lightheaded. Do some research and follow up with a cardiologist. Take care.
Good info on it

Do you have a heart doctor? I have SVT to and just recently had a Cardiac Ablation which is where they go in and find the abnormal area causing the SVT and they burn the abnormal tissue to stop it. So far so good, I had it done about 3 weeks ago. You might ask your doctor about it, be sure to cut back on caffeine as well.
