SVT for my newborn baby

SVT for my newborn baby

I have a newborn boy whom was born with SVT, his heart rate was beating at a rate of 295Hpm and they gave him one dose of adenozin 50mcg/kg after which his heart beat went down to normal 150Hpm, he was discharged from the hospital and after 2 weeks he got another episode after which he was admitted to the NICU then given diving reflex adenosine for 6 times all didn't or work temporary then he was put on amiodarone which worked for him .. but episodes still hit him from time to another as they reduce the dose then go back and increase it .. my question here is and i know am not asking doctors .. but i need an answer from any body who went through same experience

1- does my child need an ablation or specific surgery in this age .. he is 1 month age till now.
2- if ablation or surgery is not done at this age should he remain on medication until suitable age for ablation?
3- doesn't medication for long time cause severe side effects ? are that effects controllable , are they common ?
4- should I take him from hospital ? what should I do in home
