Hey Lsn2health,

Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) refers to fast heart rates that arise from the top chambers of the heart. It is a blanket term and has several causes that may result in this particular condition.
Sometimes SVT may arise as a result of a particular trigger, which may be related to alcohol intake.
Alcohol intake in moderation (upto one glass of wine per day) should be okay if this is not a trigger in your case.
I would recommend that you discuss this question with your cardiologist who has been taking care of your heart related issues.

Hope that helps
