Sarcoidosis

by Ken-Dunwody, Dec 03, 1998 12:00AM
On meds (Dilacor) 2 years for Premature Ventricular Contractions.  Two months ago following lung biopsy, diognosed with Sarcoidosis.  Seeing Cardiologist next week.  There may be a connection, any suggested questions?  Thank You.  Ken

Dear Ken
Ask about whether there is any evidence that the sarcoid has affected either your heart muscle or heart’s electrical conduction system. Ask about whether you need an EKG, echo or Holter monitor. Mention any symptoms such as palpitations, dizziness or shortness of breath.
I hope this has been useful. Feel free to write back with further questions. Good luck.
