Secondary Pulmonary Hypertension

Is there any treatment for secondary  pulmonary hypertension?
Have a MCTD with antiphospholipid syndrome.Have been having
continued clotting despite anticoagulation therapy with subsequent
2nday pulmonary hypertension.INR in the 3.5-4 range.Thank You.

The best treatment is aggressive treatment of the underlying disorder. Adequate anticoagulation can be important, but it sounds like that is already being attempted. IF there is already a lot of old clot in the pulmonary arteries, a surgical endarterectomy to remove the clot can be performed, and this sometimes eliminates the pulmonary hypertension.
