Seroquel

Seroquel

I am a 55 year old female. I have been taking Seroquel for 13 years.  I have low blood pressure 80/65.  During these years, I have had tachycardia (pulse rate 120 or higher) at times.

Question:  During the past month, I have had some arrythemia problems with it....for the past week when I awaken from sleep, I feel a severe burning/stinging feeling all over. It last about 15 minutes and goes away.  What is this???

PS: I have had several heart tests this month. ECHO/ECHO STRESS/EKG.  The doctors have determined that the heart is in good shape.

Unfortunately, it is difficult and almost impossible to make a diagnosis just by symptoms alone (on the internet). There are a number of conditions that can lead to having a fast heart rate (or arrhythmia). The usual test of choice would be a holter monitor over a period of time to record the heart rhythm.

With regards to the parasthesias you are experiencing in your feet - this, too, could be caused by a number of conditions that could be related to either the blood flow, nerves, or skin/muscle of your lower extremities. If this is causing your significant discomfort, you should have follow-up with your regular physician who knows your medical history well and can further evaluate you for any issues that need addressing.
