Severe hypokinesia of distal septum, apical and lateral wall of LV with mild hypokinesia of rest of LV.

The following is the finding of eco of my FIL age 56 years.: The same may please be explained in easy terminology. What is the treatment suggested:

LA/LV are moderately dilated. Other cardiac chambers are normal sized.
Severe hypokinesia of distal septum, apical and lateral wall of LV with mild hypokinesia of rest of LV.
No e/o concentric hypertrophy of LV.
LV systolic function is reduced. LVEF is 32%.
Type 1 diastolic dysfunctioning of LV
Mild to moderate A R. Aortic valve is atherosclerotic.
Septae intact.
Aortic root is dilated.

Obviously that heart it is not in good shape, it is pumping only about 50% of what it should be and it is not moving correctly, what suggest potential lack of blood due to problem in the coronary arteries.

As per the medication, it has to be evaluated by a cardiologist that will order more test and it will also depend on the symptoms that he has.

Meanwhile, no alcohol, no smoking, low salt intake, soft exercise (if possible) and healthy food will help.
