Severe racing heart and chest pains

Severe racing heart and chest pains

I am a 27 year old male and weight 70kg. I keep myself fit and do eat a balanced diet/ The last 3 years now I have been experiencing chest pains and rapid heart rate but now seems to be getting worse. When I used to drink beer/tea/coffee or even eat chocolate my heart would race, which I have given up over 8months ago now. But now it seems to happen more and more, which is more noticeable during the night as I wake up during the night and my heart is racing like mad for no apparent reason. I have done all the tests, ECG, 6 day monitor, echocardiogram, blood tests which include thyroid and they have all come out normal. I did a stress test and after I finished it my heart rate slowed down to what it should be, but then started to race to about 170 BBP! The doctor said that it was fine which I was shocked about as that is not normal. Also been experiencing skipped sort of beats when I exercise, as feels like a beat is stuck and then starts pounding again. No one seems to believe me and even showed up on the monitor when I did the stress test that something was not right but they seem to think it

Thanks your comment. The thing is, i know in my heart that this is not the problem. I get constant chest pains and excerise makes my heart skip and feels like i am going to faint. I am not ashamed to go to a threapist about this but there is no need as my wife knows me she knows that what i am experinecing is real and not a threapist issue!
If all the tests comes out negative, then it should be looked into something else! So many people on this site complain about things about themsleves and they all can't be wrong, even when all tests come out negative!
The things is my mother recently had a 6 day monitor on her heart as she was feeling the exact things that i was feeling i.e chest pains, skipping heart beat, so there must be something that we both have!
I also have constant problems iwth my stomach, i.e constipation, butterfles, which happens regualry now. My mother also has digestive problems, so not sure if this is linked!
Please help!!

I know what your feeling. I have had the stomach and digestive issues for years. So has my mother. She also has anxiety and so do I. My brother has the racing heartbeatand other heart trouble. He has had every test under the sun and they say he is fine. He has even went to the emergency room in an ambulance before. Now he takes Xanex. He gets really bad panic attacks. It took him years before he was convinced it was anxiety. I just recently went on medicine since my nephew died. Then I knew for myself that it was anxiety. While I was greiving and upset my anxiety got out of control. I feel so much better now. Im not scared that I am dying of some crazy thing that the docters can't figure out. This is very common. It is not a weekness either. It is just the way your brain works. They say that with therapy it can be controlled. I guess as long as you fix the underlying problem. Thats my next step. Look up the sympoms of anxiety and see if you have them.
