Sharp Throbbing Pain in inner thigh and rib cage, very localized.

From time to time I get these very SHARPE throbbing pains in my rib cage and inner thigh. It happens for a few throbs and then stops and I might not have it again for another few months, maybe longer. They are always the same and happen exactly at the same time. It feels like its in sync with my heart and SO extremely painful. I have always brushed them off.

Unfortunately intermittent pain are difficult to diagnose. But from the location, character and duration of pain as described, the pain is unlikely to be coming from the heart. I would recommend seeing a primary care physician for a proper exam +/- blood tests and imaging.
