Sharp pains/heavy feeling in my chest near heart`?

Hello, I am a 21 year old girl who has sharp pains in her chest near the heart nearly every day. The pain is not very strong but enough to bother me and sometime I have to stop what I'm doing and wait till the pain pass. There's also a heavy feeling on my chest and I have no idea what it might be. Couple of times my heart started beating really fast for no reason, I was actually trying to take a nap but was not able to because of my heart was beating very strongly and it bothered me and made me feel quite uncomfortable. I also quite often have this dizzy feeling and I feel weak, and a bit sick in my stomach.
The pains make me more and more worried and I know I should go to see a doctor but to be honest I don't like the GPs in London because I had very bad experience with them.. it seems like they don't really care or bother with your problems. So that is why I wrote here so maybe someone can give me suggestions what it might be and whether or not it's serious.
Please, if anyone knows what could cause this?

The problem could be associated with the thyroid gland or electrolytical imbalance due to your diet.  It could be a heart problem and at least you should have a blood analysis and EKG.  An EKG monitors the electrical impulses as it moves through your heart...and sometimes an individual may wear a device in an attempt to capture any irregularities of impulses when they occur.  You should contact a doctor to rule out any serious cardiovascular disorder.
