I have noticed them off and on for at least a few years. However, I felt a seven or so beat run last saturday 7/7/07, then a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys three-four beat run yesterday morning, a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bit of bigeminy last night, and a three beat run just now. I have had a great deal of stress the last couple of months and have not had more than six hours (if that) of sleep a night over the last couple of day. The only symptoms I notice is the flip flopping in my heart. Any insight or information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
By the way Va_Tony-Thank you for all your knowledgable and helpful advice.
a 7 beat run on 7/7/07 is a strong indicator of an 8 beat run on 8/8/08.........relax, the worst that can happen is a 12 beat run on 12/12/12. That 3/4 rhythm is just your heart waltzing. Forgive my silliness tonight.
No. Bursts that short are absolutely not dangerous. If you have an episode that lasts longer than 20-30 minutes, go to the ER. I've personally been in SVT for hours and hours with no ill effects.
If they really bothered you, you could try meds, but the side effects would probably be worse than the SVTs.
I get that a lot, usually hormone-induced. Some days I have none, other days I have little three beat runs every five or ten minutes all day long. I've had all the necessary testing, and all seems well. My heart even healed, from an unrelated problem I developed, in spite of all the thumping so rest easy ;)
