Shortness of breath - Heart attack?

My husband had a problem in the past wheresoon after making love he became short of breath and breaks a sweat. The problem cleared up but now recently started again, this time a liitle worse. Its been a few months since his last attack. He is a 26 year old smoker with a drinking problem. I am worried. Please help, he wont see a doctor.

I doubt it is his heart. Of course smoking and heavy drinking are not good for his health or his heart and he would do well to reduce (or quit) both.
