I have been experiencing an increased shortness of breath over a period of months, primarily when walking distances of up to about 1000 feet, when standing and when talking giving sales presentations.
I am male, 64 years old, type II diabetic (not paying close attention to control), and work as a salesman in a mattress store (11 hour days, mostly sitting, then get up greet customer and go through sales presentation). I have peripheral artery disease (PAD) (right thigh hurts from prolonged standing. Ultrasound about two years ago showed about 75 percent occlusion of left carotid artery. Have been taking oral EDTA for chelation and have noticeable effects that significant calcium has been chelated out of body. I take 6000 mg fish oil daily plus lechethin, cod liver oil, garlic, magnesium, policosanol, and pycnogenol. Used to walk a couple miles per day about 3 years ago. Could not do that now.
Would appreciate guesses about causes and natural approaches to improve condition. I don't believe much in traditional medicine.
