Should I be worried about my EKG?

Should I be worried about my EKG?

As some of you know I have been having many issues, Sunday I was in the ER again this time with pain like I have never felt and guess what? They said my Gallbladder needed to come out, I have 2 stones and sludge. I am set up to have that done on 07/08/2010. Maybe this was causing me pain all along?

They did an EKG and while it was normal they found that my QT was lenghthened when compared to my last one from May 30th. QT 384 MS and QTC 451 MS. On top of all that is going on I am getting pretty crazy, should I be worried about this? I have been having an increase in palpations and some dizzness but its not always when I fell flutters, it sometimes just comes.

I don't think there's anything to worry about, these can easily be affected by stress.

I too had gallbladder issues for a year and it fooled the docs for a year. I had 2 nuclear stress tests, 3 echos and lots of blood work before my family doc said"let's look at your gallbladder". Same thing, stones and sludge. I had it our 2 weeks later and the pain never came back. It's an easy surgery, I was in surgery at 9:00 AM and back on the couch at home by noon. Piece of cake.

Good luck!

Did you have it out a long time ago? I hear a lot of people saying they felt better and a lot saying they got a host of other problems because of it... I am very afraid but I dont want to ever feel that pain again. I have had this pain for over a year and a half just not as bad as it was that Sunday.. I had it bad one other time last year but believed them when they said nothing was wrong. So do you think the pain could have effected the EKG?

I have been feeling I guess you can say very lightheaded, off balance, sometimes it feels like I am falling for about 3 weeks now. I really wonder what could be causing this.

I had it out in April of 2006. It was a really easy surgery, 3 little holes and about 30 mins. I have felt 100% better with no side effects. A hot gallbladder will make you have chest pain, nausea, stomach issues and fatigue. Getting mine out was the best thing that ever happened to me.

The gall bladder is basically a storage sac, it holds bile from the liver and it concentrates it. The bile is used to neutralise acids and break down fats when you eat. Once removed in surgery, bile (a weaker form) will be supplied directly from the Liver. The only possible side effect after surgery is diarrhea which the cause is unknown.
If this happens and affects your quality of life, it may be worth asking your Doctor about a medication called creon 25000. Although this is used in cases where pancreas problems occur, it contains pancreatic enzymes which break down fats for digestion. I had a friend who suffered very oily diarrhea for years after his gall bladder was removed and Doctors were doing nothing. I did a some research on the digestive system and came across this medication. His Doctor agreed to try the medication and it worked a treat. He simply swallows a capsule every time he eats something. It did seem a bit odd that Doctors couldn't explain the oils and yet I found a solution within a few hours. He can still gain or lose weight in the normal ways and his cholesterol is still in the normal range. He has no side effects from the medication at all.

You are stressing because of the pain.  You are having to deal with fear and frustration over the pains and no real answer for them.  This will give you palpitations, also.  Hang in there!  Ally (I sent you an email too)

I did it! Had it out 6 days ago... I got 4 small cuts. It has been hard for me. I am starting to feel a little better day by day and I hope when its all over I can move on.

I have bad back pain on my right side and I have sharp pains in my right side. I can not stand for to long without being in a lot of pain and I tire very easily. Sitting is now becoming a hassle because my butt hurts from sitting so long and my side pain makes it uncomfotable. I do try and move around a lot thinking I will get better faster and have less issues and I still can not get out of bed alone because the pain in my side kills me if I try to sit up without help.

Is this normal? WIll I ever be normal again? I have been through so much these past few months I just cant take anymore and I so want to get back to life before all this happened.
