Should I be worried

by Tarasheridan, Jul 06, 2009 08:42AM
I am a 31 yr old female.  I have Type 2 diabetes and high cholest.  I take Metformin and Simvastatin (sp?).  I am about 10 lbs overweight.  This last pat week I have been having tightening of the chest.  I know this sounds funny but it feels like you are watching a movie and you are trying to hold back crying :-)  LOL  Like pressure in the chest.  But it is also accompanied by, I feel sick to my stomach and don't want to eat or drink, really tired all the time even after waking in the AM from sleeping all night.  Also feeling short of breath this week = like I am paying more attention to breathing and I have to make an effort to breath deep to get enough air in my lungs. I am on the verge of tears and have a lot of stress in my life right now with my marriage and financial issues.

So I know this sounds funny - but I don't want to go to the docs and them tell me it is gas or something and have to pay a copay and look like an idiot..... So should I worry or give it a few days???  THank you !
