Should I see a doc/urgent care for this?

by jen10176, Nov 10, 2009 08:16AM
I am an overall healthy, 33 year old, female.
Last night (about 10 hours ago) I experienced some pain in between my shoulder blades.  The pain increased and decreased in intensity over about an hour.  The pain also spread to my left arm and a bit to the chest.
The pain stopped and I was able to fall asleep.  I seem to feel fine this morning.  Besides some cold symptoms.  I have a dry cough, and my abdomen is sore.
Do you think I need to go to urgent care because of the pain I had last night?  Or is it too late because I seem to be ok this morning.

It's never too late.  Although you're young, you should get this checked out and make sure it isn't heart related by seeing a cardiologist.  You need to catch heart problems early.

Dittos - get checked out to be safe. Heart symptoms can come and go, I've been there.
