Single vessel disease: Analysis of coronary angiography report is required.

I was having experiencing pain in my heart from many days. So i went to the hospital. My Blood Pressure was 150/110 at that time. They took my ECG and gave me some medicines. I am taking Atenolol 50 mg twice a day, Clopidogrel Bisufate 75 mg once a day, Amlodipine Besilate 5 mg once a day and Aspirin 150 mg twice a day.
And also i take Glyceryl Trinitrate 0.5 mg whenever i have pain in my heart.

The doctors advised me to have a test of "Coronary Angiography with non ionic dye" .

I've had this test on Saturday, December 5, 2009.
During the test i felt pain but at the end they asked me to cough but when i tried to cough I couldn't and my heart sinked. I heard the doctors shouting and when I felt again, Doctors were slapping my face and trying to wake me up. I felt pain so they gave me Glyceryl Nitrate during the test as well.

I have the reports of that test with me now.
I am going to write it down here and I need advice on it. Please kindly read it and advice me what to do further.

I have read on the internet the prep for PCI is to not completely put anyone to sleep.  I had a stent implant, and the cardiologist wanted enough medication to inhibit any pain, and a sense of well-being free of any anxiety, etc.  The reason for not putting to sleep is to have the patient able to follow any requests for a change of position, etc. if necessary.

I have very little memory of the procedure except I rememeber feeling very good and completely relaxed physically and mentally.

Am I to understand it's not normal to be asleep, or put to sleep, for the angiography?  I was put on the table and talked a few seconds with the nurses then I just went to sleep and I'm not sure if an IV was attached to knock me out or not, I know I just went to sleep waiting for the process to start.

"Left Anterior Descending: Sub total occlusion below D1".

This indicates the left ascending coronary artery has some blockage and a stent implant is recommended.  The PCA is a cath interventional procedure that will stent and open the LAD.  The stent procedure could have been done at the time of the angiogram...did your physical condition/reaction at the time of the test prevent doing a stent implant at the time?

No other problems indicated on the report.  You may want to get an understanding regarding your passing out!  You may have been overdosed or allergic to the dye, etc., your reaction is an unexpected event during an angiogram (cath), and the doctor shouild know and explain what happened.  You don't provide much information and whether or not to stent the LAD is only issue that you present.  The general rule is to stent if there is chest pain, etc. and if medication does not adequately treat the chest pain.
