Sleeping positions

My heart pauses and then has a hard beat several times a minute, sometimes feeling like a fish out of water.  It happens more frequently when I change from side to side while laying down.  What would cause this positional incident? Pressure from the rib cage or internal organs and is this common for PVC's.  I know AF is dangerous but PVCs are not,is this right?

I too also notice that my body position affects PVC frequency-
lying on my left side and also bending over can bring them on, in fact, if I am having a run of them, just changing my position (eg
rolling over) can stop them.

For what it's worth -- my experience is that I feel the PVCs more in certain positions, rather than that there are more PVCs in one position than another.  For example, I feel PVCs most clearly when lying on my left side, and least when standing.

my two cents...

Really, I think that the positional changes are just a coincidence. Generally speaking, you are correct that PVCs are not dangerous, assuming that you do not have any underlying heart disease.
