Soreness in heart after catherization

Three months ago I had a heart catherization to rule out certain heart related diseases. During the procedure my blood pressure went up over 200 and the Doctor had to push very hard to get the catheter through the blood vessel in my heart. While he was pushing the catheter through I could not breath and my pressure continued to go up.
I was latter told there was a 50% blockage in all the main arteries of my heart.
My real concern is that I am very sore in the area of my heart where he had a problem pushing the catheter, I used to exercise prior to this procedure but am afraid to do anything strenuous as the soreness becomes quite painful .

Is this a common symptom or something I should be concerned about.

I've had a number of heart caths, and on the screen I can see that my blood pressure rises pretty high as well, I'm betting that's normal, but I'm not a health professional.  I've had chest pain when they inflate the balloon to either compress a blockage less than 70% or place a stent if the blockage is 70% or more.  However, any major chest pains were not evident after the procedure, just some discomfort occasionally for a couple of days.  Does breathlessness accompany the discomfort?  

I would certainly talk to the doctor about your discomfort.  I had what was termed a Spontaneous Dissection of my RCA, but believe because the artery is very twisted, some artery damage took place when a stent was snaked to the blockage.  You might discuss this possibility with your doctor.
