Spasms of the Coronary Arteries

On Friday, I was diagnosed with Angina due to Spasms of the Coronary Arteries. Has anyone heard of this before?

I use a daily nitro patch, which relieves my chest pain, but it also gives me severe headaches.  This would not be a great problem, but I also have migraines which lasts for weeks.  How can I handle this best??

I also have pvo and an atrial septal aneurysm.

Thanks for your help.

This is very common and is also called Prinzmetal's angina.  I would recommend the use of a calcium channel blocker and perhaps a lower dose of nitrates to control symptoms.
