Stents after Bypass cont.

I guess your answer was one we was afraid of hearing.  My dad is a very active man.  He is County Commissioner, Real Estate Agent and works on wrecked trucks to resale.  This is what he said he didnt want " to be an invalid", he just keeps saying over and over.  I beleive the doctors called it arterosclerosis.  This Heart Disease is hit every generation.
He has just left for the mountains for a drive to look at the leaves turn.  He plans to go turkey hunting this month and deer hunting next month.  He should really have this checked before he goes, right?  His problem is getting a doctor, he is already finding a new doctor to see him but it will be a month or so.  Like I had said before, his other doctor puts him off.
Something else I didnt mention, after his bypass when he began having pains again and they complained to the doctor, she said that was normal, finally she did another stress test on him and it wasn't till he went to the hospital for chest pains in September that the doctor finally tells him that his stress test he had taken in July was abnormal.  He has been very lucky so far not to have a heart attack, but we are afraid his luck could be running out.
Whenever you said he will be going thru many procedures, could you please explain that to me?  And could you give me a physicians name there at the Cleveland Clinic he could see that specializes in this certain area.
I am so grateful for your answers and help when this.  You can never know how much I appreciate this.  Thank you so much.  My father lives in WVA and I have just recently moved to Arkansas and I am terrified that I could not get to him fast enough if he had a heart attack, he is too young.

Sincerly,
Marcie

DeaR Marcie,

I would recommend Dr. Donald Hammer for a second opinion.  He can be reached through the number listed below.
