Sternal Infection after CABG

I m a medical student, my father has recently undergone a Bypass Surgery exactly 3 months ago with 4 grafts, after the surgery he is suffering from Sternal Infection caused By staphylococcus Aureaus, The Doctors Administered Vancomycin Therapy for few weeks, the conditions seemed somewhat better but its not fully recovered and also he is experiencing Intense pain in the Chest region where the sternum is infected ,also there was fluid in his Left Lung after the CABG. After the surgery it was revealed that his Sternum was broken and the wire was the cause of infection.
so i want to know about the treatment that which drugs must be used for the Bone infection and also tell me about the Pain that what has caused it.
what do u think about Linezolid and ceftaroline therapy for the sternal infection?
