Thank you for your answer, there is no chance I could run a marathon, I will try not to stress myself out too much, hey , I lost a pound since the phone call from the Doc, can't eat, too anxious, now that's good news.Thank you erijon also, I have been under a lot of emotional stress before the test, for about a Year, and I know that I was not feeling well.
When the Doctor told me that the test look good, I was so happy, he should have wait to see the entire result, I think, or call me on Monday instead of Friday, since the cath is not before October 27, but I am sure I will lose few more pounds before that.
thank you again.
I just reviewed my post, of course I meant you should NOT stress about it! Egad.
Flycaster is correct, they most likely saw some areas of uneven distribution of the tracer in your post stress images. Don't get too worked up, it could be a false positive from soft tissue attenuation, in any case a cath will clear up everything.
It must be tough and it is certainly easy for me to say, but try not to worry until you know what's going on. Emotional stress won't help.
Good luck!
Jon
When you were getting off the treadmill, the comment that things looked fine were probably based on what was seen on the ECG machine. However, comparing the trace elements injected at rest at during the high heart rate period of the stress test may show that there is a blockage of an artery and during exercise, your heart is not getting enough blood in parts of it. The cath will give the doctor specific answers.
I'd try to stress about it, but the period of time after a stress test and before a cath is always a worrisome time, I've gone through that a number of times. Just don't do any decathlons or marathons, and try to keep your emotions in check.
Keep us informed what the tests show.
