Sustained irregular beats & question.......

I had a 2-hour episode of irregular beats where I almost fainted.  Have had irregular beats for 10+ years, but this is the first time it was so sustained and the horrible feeling of fainting.  This was 5 weeks ago, and since then have been fine with only occassional irregular beats.
Am taking InderalLA60 and have MVP.  I was told a 24-hr holter monitor was normal, but the report stated "168 abnormal QRS complexes throughout the period without sustained runs of supraventricular or ventricular tachycardia."  Could you please explain what that this means or suggests?
Also, What is your advice as to treatment options for someone like me (34 year old female)  I'm living in fear of this occurring again, and what should I do if this does occur again....wait it out, or go to the hospital???
Could this irregular beat be the type people die from suddenly and is there a way to tell if it can't be caught on a holter or event monitor?
Thanks!
