Switched to Coreg

I have been taking Lopressor for many years and my doctor has just changed me to Coreg because my EF has lowered.  I am only on my third day of Coreg, but my pulse rate was 65 on Lopressor.
On Coret, the BP is about the same, but my pulse rate is up to 80.  Is my heart just adjusting to the Coreg, or is there a problem?

Often, doctors prescribe very low doses of Coreg initially and increase it gradually.  I started at 3.25 mg twice a day, eventually taking 25 mg twice a day.  If you are taking a very low dose I suspect your body is simply adjusting to the new medication.
