Symptons

My husband has had 9 bypass surgery last January.  He has had continued shoulder pain since May.  He has had a stress test done in Sept./Oct. which was fine.  Basically his doctors say he is fine.  Last night again he complained about bad shoulder pain that he had before his surgery (that was his only sympton before the surgery).  Could this pain be stress related?  His company is closing his plant, and he will be out of a job in 2 weeks.  Which of course  is probably causing increased stress for him?  Or should he again go back to his doctor with this change in pain?

Dear Brenda,
If this pain is the same pain that he had before surgery and has recently begun or changed in character, this should be evaluated.
