I have systolic hypertension...highest reading ever was 212/94 but usually would, or does, run 179/68 or 160s ..it took about 9 tries of different medicines to get it down in the 140s because my heart rate runs low. Lately, its back up in 60s but will take spells of being 50 and then I am wiped out. The doctor I work for just says oh your rate is always low and they don't do anything for 50. But I can hardly go with it so low at 50, am on maxzide 25 mgm in the mornings is all and watch my sodium intake as much as possible.
Anyone else having a rate this low and being told the same?
