YESTERDAY MY HUSBAND WAS GIVEN A THALIUM STUDY STRESS TEST BUT HE WAS NEVER PUT ON A TREAD MILL.  CAN THAT BE RIGHT?

He probably had a "chemical stress test" where a drug is given to the heart to simulate exercise.  This is a common procedure for people unable to walk on the treadmill.
