Test Results

Test Results

I am so confused about test results.  I'm looking for a connection and explanation for these results:

Doppler Ultrasound of Carotid Arteries: Consistent reproducible elevation in diastolic flow volume and velocity consistent with reduced peripheral resistance which could be caused by vascular lesion that would allow AV shunting.

EKG: Sinus Tachycardia: Possible ventricular preexcitation.  Low R waves in anteroseptal leads.  Possible Old anteroseptal infarction.

MRA: Essentially normal.

MRI Brain: 2 8 mm high signal structures in periventricular white mater adjacent to anterior horn of right lateral ventrical that have appearances consistent with plauqes of multiple sclerosis.

Diarrhea with bowel incontinence and bladder hesitancy.

Can this all be from MS?  Please comment on the heart tests in light of possible MS diagnosis.  Is there a connection?  I don't know what those heart test results mean.

Thank you SO MUCH!!!!

The MRI and bowel/bladder symptoms sound like they could be from MS. The heart test results are unlikely to be related to MS. The EKG and Doppler tests are abnormal, but further testing would be necessary to determine if there is any underlying disease.
