Test was inconclusive as blood pressure went to 292/62. Doc requested another test to be done.  Not for sure which will be done. Either the one which is done through the throat or the catherization to determine better what is causing the problem. Still have Pitted edema in ankles and legs, retaing water.  Doc says that didn't think soreness in fingers was septic embolisation.  Thinks could come from the ulner nerve damage in that arm.  Can an ulner nerve damage cause soreness in the pads of the fingers as well as weakness and numbness in that arm?  Appreciate your response, thank you, Sandra

Dear Sandra,
Sounds like you are getting great care and advice; the "one down the throat" I believe you to mean a TEEchocardiogram, and this as well as a cath are likely both appropriate and certainly will provide information if not answers to your health problems.
Nerves are funny in that they can be damaged and actually cause pain, not just numbness and weakness, however this is a question for a neurologist not a cardiologist.
I hope this information is useful. Information provided in the heart forum is for
general purposes only.  Only your physician can provided specific diagnoses and therapies.
Feel free to write back with further questions. Good luck!
