Things that affect pvc/pac

Does stimulants such as coffee and tea tend to promote more pvcs and pacs?  I have both and have not really determined if those stimulants have an affect.  It seems they do at times but not at others.

Many people find that caffeine aggravates their pvcs/pacs.  Identifying triggers for your pvcs/pacs is tough.  There seem to be different triggers (or no triggers) for all of us.  However, some of the most common include: caffeine, lack of sleep, large meals, anxiety and MSG.

Eliminating caffeine may make a difference, but it's not certain.

Caffeine definitely does trigger it sometimes.  I tend to have it after meals also, and it lasts sometimes for hours.  I'm beginning to think it's more what's in the food we eat, perhaps MSG that we don't know is in something.  Also, Sweet & Low seems to trigger it also.  I have drank a Diet Caffeine Free Coke and triggered it with that, so who knows.  It's very uncomfortable.  I have found a little relief from taking a couple of Rolaids, which at least helps some.  How do you know if what you have really could be bad at the time, if you keep being told it's not?  Sometimes it does cause cramping in my throat, which may be from anxiety, but it still scares the heck out of you!!

I agree with both posts here - 100%
soda pop  can really trigger palps to happen - as well stress ! heartburn& trapped gas
can do it.. meny things I found can trigger them to happen.

msg for me is the worst !  im allergic to it - and now they use it under diffrent names
so you have to know the names, iv gotten very sick from it - and had a few bad days of off on palps .. for a long time ,I ate foods blan - simple ,if it looked good i wouldnt eat it
I kept on water and a few fruit drinks only.  it helped ..  then doctor upped the beta blocker dose , and the palps stopped or faded ..

im not a fan of b.p meds -  as I get every known side effect !

best to try and keep calm -relaxed  and keep simple diet  more to the blan side
watch b.p so its not too high !

good luck  booger the nose

I had PVC's and PVA's. A monitor recorded over 1300 per day. Heart also would take off racing, rapid heatbeat. Would wake me up at night racing. Had cadiac Ablation performed twice. I still have some everyday. Friends can tell when I have a large skip because both eyes blink at same time. Beer and hard alcohol would make skipping happen more often.Wine helps make it settle down when I am having lots of skips. If it gets real bad I have a glass of brandy (blackberry is pretty good, depending on the brand). Hope this helps. I had to change what I use to drink for years but it was worth it. I have not noticed any foods that increase or decrease the PVC's or PVA's.
