Hey there :)
Do you think that it may be trigeminy - but just coming in short sharp bursts? I have a lot of trigeminy and sometimes mine can feel like that too. Just a thought. Did you have of them when you were wearing the monitor?? are they consistant and regular? the reason I ask is that maybe you could have a 48 or a 30 day monitor and then they can see what's happening.
Sorry I can't be more helpful, but it doesn't sound like svt if your pulse rate is normal so trigeminy was the only other thing I could think of.
Maybe some of the other forum members will have a better understanding.
Keep calm and take care,
Debs
OK, first remember our mantra....breathe, breathe, breathe....
It sounds like it could be a triplet. W'hat you describe sounds like what I feel when I'm having a run of pvcs, whether it's a triplet or more. It's kind of like your heartbeat is running away without you, right? Since you mostly have pac's, I'm thinking it probably feels kind of like a run of pvc's, but coming from the atrium as opposed to the ventricle...Does that make sense?
How's school going?
Hope you're having an otherwise great day : )
Darn those ectopics!!
Try getting a event recorder for a few weeks and see what happens. That would be the best bet. If you can record a triplet, then the doctors can be sure of what your talking about and then take the necessary precautions from there. It seems with many doctors is that you can tell them all your issues but until they see data, they dont want to act on much.
Best of luck! :)
