Thrombolysis for heart attacks

Will  thrombolysis work good for heart attack incidents attended to within the first hour of the onset.Streptokinase medicines are apt to do clot busting so that a clogged artery is cleared up.Will it be necessary to rely on invasive procedures later to combat the ailment?

My guess - I think it would depend on the origin of the clot. From a long plane trip? From a surgery? Or did you form a clot from some plaque in the arteries that broke loose. If there's a plaque blockage, that may need further attention.
