Thyroid???

I am a 25 year old female. On a recent check-up with my gynecologist, he stated that my thyroid seemed like it was enlarged and that I should have it checked out with my primary doctor.  I went to my doctor for a thyroid test and he said everything was normal. Feeling of my neck myself it does seem enlarged.  I am tired alot of the time and I am having a hard time losing weight.  Is this something that I should be concerned about?  Are there more extensive tests that might detect a problem rather that blood test?  This is not the first time that I have had to have my thyroid tested.  The doctor that I used to see as a teenager also felt like it was enlarged, but the tests have always came back okay.  Any advice would be helpful.  Thanks in advance.
