Hi -- I too have tach at night. Only at night. Doc thinks it's Hashimoto's thyroiditis with perhaps a nodule the leaks too much thyroid out. Blood work shows anti thyroid antibodies and hypothyroidHypothyroidism Hypothyroidism - primary Hypothyroidism - secondary Neonatal hypothyroidism Primary and secondary hypothyroidism condition. Could also be menopause or some combo. Bearing down as if going to the bathroom brings them to an immediate stop. Does that make sense in the case of a hyperthyroid condition. Why would the heart slow down?
They don't make me nervous as Cardio says its sinus tach -- but it is frustrating as some nights it wakes me up non stop every time I fall asleep. Going to endocrinologist this week. We shall see. Has been coming with greater frequency. Now every few days. Used to be twiceTwice-a-day a year.
