To Night Tach

by scoobydale, Mar 01, 2008 02:43AM
Hi -- I too have tach at night. Only at night. Doc thinks it's Hashimoto's thyroiditis with perhaps a nodule the leaks too much thyroid out. Blood work shows anti thyroid antibodies and hypothyroid condition. Could also be menopause or some combo. Bearing down as if going to the bathroom brings them to an immediate stop. Does that make sense in the case of a hyperthyroid condition. Why would the heart slow down?

They don't make me nervous as Cardio says its sinus tach -- but it is frustrating as some nights it wakes me up non stop every time I fall asleep. Going to endocrinologist this week. We shall see. Has been coming with greater frequency. Now every few days. Used to be twice a year.

This discussion is related to night tachycardia.
