Tourtous and Calcified Aorta Caused by Hypertension

On a recent xray, it was determined that I have a tourtous and calcified aorta. At the time, the news was shocking and a bit frightening. Today, I'd like to learn what it means, what I can do, what I need to look out for, and any general information I can obtain about this condition.
