Transplant or other proceedures

1 Year ago last October I went through a battery of test to see about a transplant or Heart Reduction Surgery.  My PET Scan was 16.2 and for the heart reduction surgery I had 48%.  Since then I have had 2 minor heart attacks, 6 Angioplasties, and 5 congestive heart failures.  Should I or my Cardiologist make an appointment to be reevaluated. I only have Medicare but go to the VA hospital for my general use.  My cardiologist is outside that system.  I clog up every 3 months regularly.  I have blood flow loss in my right leg down to 40%.  Left femoral is wrapped in Gortex from Annurism.
The doctor I saw last time up there was Dr. Starling.  Thank you very much.

Dear Clarence:
It sounds like many things have changed since you were last seen here at the Cleveland Clinic.  You have had several problems with your heart.  From the information that you have provided, I cannot say whether you would be a candidate for a surgical procedure, but that issue can be reassessed.  Furthermore, Dr. Starling may be able to make some adjustments in your medications that might help your situation.  There is also the possibility of trying experimental medications and procedures, if standard therapies are not useful.
I suggest you give Dr. Starling
