Treatment of AV nodal reentry tachycardia

Hi,
I was diagnosed 5 years ago with supraventricular tachycardia.  Daily episodes, heartrate up to 250 bpm.  Tried different meds but because of low pressure could not continue.  Received ablation.  Diagnosed with grave's disease one year later.  Treated with RAI.  Now 5 years later having symptoms again but different this time.  Feels like heart stops and tries to catch up.  2nd ablation done September 23, 1999.  2 weeks later having same symptoms.  Anys ideas?  Still can not take meds because of blood pressure.  Thank you.

What type of ablation did they do recently?  For what type of arrhythmia?  What type of ablation did they do 5 years ago?  What medications have been tried?  What type of symptoms did you have with the low blood pressure?

Hi,
I'm sorry I wasn't very clear with my question.  I don't understand a lot of the terms.  5 years ago I had a catheter ablation, diagnosed as AVNRT as cause of PSVT. Dual AV node physiology, atrial flutter due to AV nodal reentry tachycardia.Underwent modification of the AV node applying enery along the posterior portion of the tricuspid annulus.  September of this year second catheter ablation AVNRT. Conclusion, successful modified AV node ablation.  The medications I have tried were Lanoxin, Corgard, Aetenol, zebata.  My normal blood pressure is about 110/60 at times it has been 80/60.  When taking the medications, I get dizzy, exhausted and sometimes would black out.  My problem is I am having symptoms again which feels like a beat is skipped and than hard heartbeats trying to catch up.  I just want to know if I should not worry about it.  Thank you.

Thanks for the clarification.  What you are experiencing now is probably not a recurrance of the AVNRT.  More likely it is a occasional PVC and nothing to worry about.  Of course if it is getting worse or is sustained you should notify your doctor.
