Treatment

Hi, this is Raabhu. My Dad suffered from Heart Attact. Only one block in single vessle, rate of block is 90%.The pumping of heart is 34% also heart is some wat damaged. I want to know the treatment of these problems. Please give the treatment for those problems.

The word 'damaged' can mean a variety of things, and it doesn't seem likely that permanent damage would result from a 90% blockage. Why is the EF only 34%? have they said this is due to the known blockage? or is there another problem, maybe very high blood pressure?
If no collateral growth has formed, and there are symptoms, AND especially as there is a known problem with the heart muscle, then intervention would seem a wise choice, as in, opening the vessel. If this can be done by stenting or using bypass will be a choice offered by the cardiologist because it depends on the length of the blockage, composition and location.
It is important that he is put on the correct medication to keep the heart rate lower than normal, and lower blood pressure if applicable. I still feel concerned about only having a single blockage of 90% and yet the EF has dropped to 34%? are you sure there are no other issues?
