recently I was taken into hospital with severe chest pain. Blood tests showed troponin levels of 0.3. All other tests (echo, treadmill, ecgEcg Electrocardiogram (ecg) Exercise stress test Post myocardial infarction ecg wave tracings) have been fine. I have been given conflicting answers as to whether I have had an MI or not. Can a troponin level of 0.3 be used on it's own to give a positive diagnosis of MI?
