angel1503,
I'm going to have to give you an unqualified "It depends".
First, there is vt and then there is VT! A short run of 2-4 beats (vt) is most often benign, while a 30-60 second run (VT!) would demand more attention.
If you are a young, healthy person who has an otherwise normal heart, then the vt/VT can most likely be tacked up to a medicine given to you during the procedure.
If you are an older person with a history of heart disease or heart attack, then the vt/VT might be a sign of something more serious.
In this case, you might think of the VT as the heart's equivalent of a cough. A cough in an 18 year-old with a stuffy nose is probably a symptom of a cold, but a cough in a 70 year-old with weight loss and smoking history might be a symptom of a cancer.
Hope that helps. Talk to your doctor.
thanks I am 39 yrs. old in fair shape and gerenarl good health
