Dear Dr. Jeffrey,
my newborn baby girl is 8 weeks old her doctor told me se suffers from VSD muscular 4mm, ASD2 4mm,PHT and he gave her medicine lasix and another one, please I want to know whether they can be repaired by itself by time or she needs a surgery, note that her heart is some how enlarged but she's gaining weight every month about 600g

You are asking questions that you want answered by Dr. Jeffery.  You can scroll down and to the left side of the page are the expert forums.

In about 40% of the kids born with VSDs, the hole is small and it closes on its own after birth. If a VSD is large and it requires surgery to be closed that has a high success rate.  Thanks for the question, good luck.  Take care.
