VSD

Dear Dr. Jeffrey,
my newborn baby girl is 8 weeks old her doctor told me se suffers from VSD muscular 4mm, ASD2 4mm,PHT and he gave her medicine lasix and another one, please I want to know whether they can be repaired by itself by time or she needs a surgery, note that her heart is some how enlarged but she's gaining weight every month about 600g

In about 40% of the kids born with VSDs, the hole is small and it closes on its own after birth. If a VSD is large and it requires surgery to be closed that has a high success rate.  Thanks for the question, good luck.  Take care.
