Very high resting heart rate

Very high resting heart rate

  I am a 41 year old male. Non-smoker, 6'4" tall, 245lbs, with no history
of heart trouble. I am writing because I am experiencing a heart rate
of 120 beats per minute while laying down for hours. I take no medication,
don't drink coffee, and am experiencing headaches (pounding, pressure type).
I have mentioned to my doctor several times that my heart rate is regularly over
100 BPM at rest and he does not seem concerned. Should I be? I have slightly
high blood pressure but once again my doctor says nothing. The fast
heart rate worries me. Should it? Any help would be appreciated.
Please send your reply to my E-mail address if possible!
  Thank you!
