by George__0__0, Oct 17, 1998 12:00AM

I am 62 and currently taking:
  Vasotec 5 mg., once daily
  Zocor 10mg., once daily and
  Indomethacin 25mg.
Are any of these intereactive with Viagra.I know I need to see a physcian but there is no point if I am not a suitable candidate for Viagra to begin with.

Dear George,
Thank you for your question.  The major drug that is a contraindication to taking Viagra is nitroglycerin or any form of nitro.   Persons with heart disease should check with their physician before taking this or any new medications.
