Vibration in Heart Region

by laservision, Oct 12, 2009 09:06AM
A few times a day I feel like there is a cell phone ringing on "vibrate"mode in my left breast pocket. The vibration is very subtle and feels deep in my chest, but I can't get a handle on it. It does not oscillate or correlate with my pulse. It occurs for about a minute with each episode and happens about every couple of hours.

There is no pain; I have no fatigue or other health symptoms. My internist examined me and did not detect a murmur or lung abnormailty. I don't want to spend the expense and time of getting a cardiac workup (echo. stress test, Halter) unless necessary. Any thoughts out there?

And no- it is not my cell phone.
